Please read these terms carefully before using Mergio
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Mergio mobile application ("App") developed and published by Codenova ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with these Terms.
You may not: copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the App; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code; use the App in any unlawful manner; or use it to create a competing product.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA) to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements. If you are under the applicable age, you may only use the App with verifiable parental consent.
3. In-App Purchases
Mergio offers optional in-app purchases, including:
- Coin Packs — consumable virtual currency used to unlock features and power-ups within the App.
- Remove Ads — a one-time non-consumable purchase to permanently remove advertisements.
All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or the policies of Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Coins and other virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred, traded, or redeemed for cash.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Their respective terms of sale apply to all transactions.
4. Virtual Currency & Items
Coins and other virtual items in Mergio are licensed to you, not sold. They have no cash value and cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another account. We reserve the right to modify, manage, or eliminate virtual items at any time, without liability to you.
5. Advertisements
The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that ads may be shown unless you have purchased the Remove Ads upgrade. Ad frequency and format are controlled by us and may change at any time.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within the App, including but not limited to graphics, game assets, characters, music, sound effects, software, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Codenova and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted no rights to any intellectual property in the App other than the limited licence described in Section 1.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, exploits, automation software, or any other unauthorised third-party software.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its related systems.
- Disrupt the normal operation of the App or servers.
- Use the App for any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal purpose.
- Circumvent any security or content protection measures.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Codenova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice or liability, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal action is pursued.
